“A dramatic, introspective track” – RollingStone AUS

“Reed has definitely set herself apart.” – Atwood Magazine US

Georgia Reed kicked off 2018 with a premiere of her latest single “Wonderland” on Triple J’s Home & Hosed. Not content with mediocrity, she’s just announced single launch shows which include Nannup Festival as well as Eves Karydas and Thando support slots in Sydney and Perth.

Wanting to challenge herself, Georgia Reed wrote about things she’s been uncomfortable about in the past. “Wonderland” is about her own experience with abuse. She hopes that the track will help some of her fans become more open to talking about daunting topics.

“This song is about an emotionally abusive relationship I was in many years ago. Wonderland is what someone wanted me to be. It wasn’t real. No matter how hard you try, you will never get there because it doesn’t exist.” – Georgia Reed

Produced by James Newhouse and mixed by Sean Cook (St. Vincent, Big Scary, Kimbra), Georgia explains it was the most relaxed she’d felt, “I really enjoyed recording ‘Wonderland’. The studio is becoming a place where I can really leave everything behind, like a getaway for me mentally. It’s nice to really dive into your music like that.”

Having shared the stage with acts including sleepmakeswaves, Stonefield, The Delta Riggs, and Olympia, she is soon to be gracing us with her alluring sound.

Playing tonight with special guests Cloning The Mammoth.
