Dirtymouth VIII

Wednesday, January 9, 2019

Dirtymouth kicks off a new year by kicking on at our beautiful new home. In January we’ve got:

DOUBLETHINK PRISM; avant-garde hip-hop fronted by local anarchist poet Marcus John (aka SPLODGE)

EMMA ROSE; poet, storyteller, educator & festival organiser all the way from Sydney

ELEPHANTS WILL INHERIT THE EARTH; anti-folk songs about oligarchy and cats to charm your fingernails off

TAONGA SENDAMA; star of Perth’s young spoken word movement – captivating poems in rich emotional worlds

DAISIES NET; imaginative, dreamy & multi-instrumental soundscapes and poetic visions

DANIEL HANSEN; bursting onto the slam scene this past year, described by Jesse Oliver as ‘a performer who knows when to growwlllll’

OPEN MIC; from the greatest poet of all time – YOU. Yes YOU!

BOOK RAFFLE; bring some spare change – you might win something….

Hosted and kept real by gig-maker LAUNDRY MAN.

Come bring your crew down to this unique clash of creative communities; Dirtymouth – an alternate universe where poetry is just as cool as music.
